Meet-n-Greet - Craft / Logic Inc

Meet-n-Greet was an early stage startup founded in California, 2015. C/L was tasked with conceptualizing interface design, application architecture, and UX flows that would best address their target audience. The primary application offering was user connections, data collection, and on-site advertising.

Initialization

C/L engages with Meet-n-Greet to determine the best platforms, interface styling, and core features required to launch a beta-program MVP to a selection of users in their assumed target demographic.

MVP

C/L designs, develops, tests, and deploys the Meet-n-Greet application to browser-based desktop users. The goal is to capture early impressions of the business model, application offering, and interface decisions. At the core, the application features an early form of a matching algorithm based on weights and balances of interests provided by the application users.

Mobile Interface

Meet-n-Greet testing periods result in positive reception from the user-base, and the most requested feature is accessibility on mobile devices. This was expected prior to MVP testing, however, mobile was held until later stages to limit user access during testing phases. Mobile browser/ responsive development continues and the beta is launched in Q3.

Formalized Application Architecture

Market testing and research is heavily leveraged to better formulate an effective application architecture and matching algorithm. The segment within the target demographic that best responds to the application is routine internet users between the ages of 40 and 65, in the United States.

Native Mobile

A vast majority of the users of Meet-n-Greet are accessing the web property via mobile devices. The founders of Meet-n-Greet move from the mobile-friendly browser design to a full, native mobile application experience designed and developed for iPhone and Android by C/L. The application architecture for the mobile applications communicates directly to a the web services through a secure tunnel RESTful API.

Application Funding

With the help of C/L research and reporting, Meet-n-Greet prepares to approach venture capitalist firms to reach a wider market for Meet-n-Greet. The company is acquired and absorbed into a competing social application.
